STYLE: One jacket-Two Looks for Less

Hello People!!

I absolutely love long jackets and I think they are very flattering for any body shape. Most especially because they are very versatile which makes it a very good piece to have in your closet. I recently purchased one from ROMWE, which is a China based company. However, the shipping took about 2-3 weeks which was a bit annoying but I got it eventually.

The material was quite lighter than I expected but it is perfect for the spring and summer.

Long Olive Green Coat -$16.99

Not to worry, I have a video that shows how I style this jacket in two different ways so you can have an idea of how it looks on. if you would also like to check out the ROMWE website to see other coats and jackets styles, then click on the link>>>>>>ROMWE (Coats)

Look 1: Girl's Day Out

-Jacket- ROMWE
-Top- Forever 21
-Pants-Thrifted

Look 2: Casual Chic

Must Have Beauty Faves

Hello beautiful people!

I know I have been MIA again but I am back for good. I promise lol.

Today I wanted to share some of my beauty faves that I have been loving this past month. So if you like to see what they are, continue reading...

Beauty Fav #1

This is the BH cosmetics Foundation Primer

This product is one of my favorites because it is one of the best primer I have ever tried. It has such a nice velvety texture that helps my foundation glide on easily and last all day. You can purchase it on this website >>> B.H. Cosmetics Foundation Primer

Beauty Fav #2

NYX First Base Primer Spray

The NYX first base primer spray is definitely another favorite of mine. During hot days, this is the best primer to use to keep your skin fresh and hydrated. I usually like to use this first before applying any makeup and I sometimes use it on its own. It is definitely a must-have for your makeup collection. You can also purchase this in Target or any beauty store near you. I got mine from Ulta Beauty and it retails for $7.99.

Beauty Fav #3

Benefit Pore-fessional Matte Rescue
Now, this definitely not within our budget but OMG. This primer is another product I have been loving. It is pricey but it is really good. I have semi-large pores around my nose and chin area, and this primer creates wonders in reducing them. This might be one of those products that you might want to splurge on. You can also purchase it from Ulta Beauty.

Beauty Fav #4

L.A. Girl Pro Concealer (Toffee)

This is a must-have in my makeup bag. I seriously cannot do without this product in my life. The texture, consistency, and affordability of this product is insane. I think it is something every lady needs. You can also purchase this at any local beauty supply store. I believe it still retails for $2.99 which is pretty awesome.

Beauty Fav #5

BH Cosmetics Wild & Radiant Baked Illuminating and Bronzing Palette
Now let's talk about HIGH-light! If you want to highlight your entire generation, I mean like change your destiny...you most definitely need this product in your life. Seriously this is a heavenly product, and it was only $8 dollars on the BH Cosmetics website! So before you continue reading, do me a favor and purchase your own right now >>>>>>Wild and Radiant Palette

Let me just show you how this highlighter changed my life:

Beauty Fav #6

Blushed Neutrals 26-color Eyeshadow & Blush Palette

Okay maybe you might think that I was paid to talk about BH cosmetics but that is not true lol. I am a lover of BH cosmetics products and I may have gone a little makeup shopping crazy on their website ( the struggle was real). Anyway, this palette has beautiful colors that are spring and summer friendly so you might want to check it out. I believe it retailed for about $8 when I bought it, however, they had a sale going on at that time. Link >>>Blushed Neutrals Palette

Beauty Fav #7

BH Studio Pro Makeup Setting Spray

Another one... *DJ Khaled's voice* . This product is honestly great and I would say that it gets the job done pretty well. It has a little bit of a dewy finish so if you have oily skin, this might not be the best setting spray to use. It keeps the makeup in place all day, however, you might need a blotting paper like 5-6 hours later. You can purchase it from their website >>>>Studio Pro Makeup Setting Spray

So that is all my faves. I hope you were able to pick up one or two products to try out. If you also want to see a demo of me using some of these products, you can check out my YouTube channel >>>SimplyKemmie. Thank you for reading!

Inspire yourself...

"You are only confined by the walls you build yourself"...

Hello People!

So today I was inspired to make a post about my hair and what led to my decision for getting grey hair. Being an aspiring beauty and fashion blogger is a lot of work. Everyday I aspire to be different and to be distinguished among the other bloggers...and trust me there are MANY of other talented bloggers out there. The main goal is not being popular but to have fun and ultimately please myself before anyone else. Now the whole grey hair is not a new trend but it is something that I have always wanted to try but I would always try to play it "safe" and stick to black. I finally gave into the fire in my soul and I got my hair fully grey.

This is yarn braids done in a bob style

I naturally love short hair styles and I thought I would play around with a short grey bob. This was a very big step for me and I was definitely scared about what people would say but like Theodore Roosevelt said,"I care not what others think of what I do,but I care very much about what I think of what I do!" Those are very real words that encouraged me to make this step. So I urge whoever is reading this, Get up and DO IT! Go ahead and SLAY for YOU and nobody else.

Have a beautiful evening lovelies.

Dream Big.

Hello Everyone!

Hope everyone is doing great today. I just wanted to thank everyone for reading and sharing my previous blog posts.  I also want to thank those who watched my two new videos on YouTube. I am sincerely grateful.

Today I do not have any particular post in mind so I am just going to go with the flow. First of all, I believe that if you have a dream, you need to work on that dream and not look at the things that can hinder it. Honestly, just go for it. There is no harm in chasing your dream. Now, I do not mean to preach to anyone. I do not think I am in any position to teach or educate anyone. I can only speak from experience. So if you have a dream or something you aspire to achieve, I suggest you GO for it. Do not hold anything back and live your life with no regrets. That is pretty much my motto for each day and that is what keeps me pushing and working.

I hope these words touched someone today and I hope it urges you to dream big and also achieve big things.

Like I said in my previous posts, I would really appreciate your feedback on what I have so far on my blog and my channel.

If you haven't checked it out yet. I will link my channel below:
